Timed
500
Approximately once every four to six weeks WSU Masters will do a
timed 500 yard swim. This gives participants an opportunity to measure
against how theyre improving, and by how much. The club keeps
records of these swims and allows swimmers to look back to see how
theyve progressed over a period of time.
The timed 500 can come at any time and is not something to be planned
for. It comes as part of the regular workout.
You can see
the records for the timed 500 swims by visiting the History
and Records Section of this site.
