Pullman Civic Trust
Since its inception in 1983, the Pullman Civic Trust has made Pullman a healthier, more vital place to live. Pullman’s rivers, parks, and trails enhance the economy and provide good opportunities for exercise, recreation and family fun. Among its accomplishments the Civic Trust has:
- Created the Spring Street Riverpark.
- Initiated and coordinated development of the Bill Chipman Palouse Trail.
- Envisioned and supported connecting trails through town funded by the community.
- Raised $400,000 for the Downtown Pullman Riverwalk.
- Helped plan the Riverwalk and Pine Street Plaza.
- Added beauty to our community by conducting annual spring-flowering bulb sales.
- Planted trees along our avenues and steams.
- Helped revitalize businesses in the downtown.

Relay
for Life
Every September the local chapter
of the American Cancer Society hosts its annual Relay for
Life. WSU Masters participates in the effort which is an 18 hour
relay walk/run around a local track. Funds raised are used to support
cancer research. You do not have to go out and ask for pledges,
you may make a donation and just walk the event.
